winehands.com is a site aimed for all those prepared to go the extra mile to ensure each and every weekend is more memorable, more hectic and a hell of a lot more enjoyable than a trip to the local meat-market nightclub.
We are here for those unwilling to sever links to university drinking stupidity – whilst looking to forget woeful nights at a Wetherspoon’s Curry Club; guzzling down Stella to mask the insipid taste of salmonella ridden korma.
The site is to serve as the Koran to twenty-somethings (actually or spiritually) where the sharing of ideas and stories will lead to the creation of the magnum opus of today’s yuppy class.
Whats in a name?
winehands is taken from Edward Winehands, a revolution in uncivilised drinking. Quite simply, the drinker has both hands gaffer taped to his/her beverage of choice. With dexterity compromised, the only route to freedom, and to more drink, is to imbibe at pace (DIO). After countless Saturday afternoon’s spicing up people’s post shopping pints in Chelsea we thought that we had better expand our ideas out to the masses. And here we are… We hope you have fun but most importantly, please, tape up…
